Founded and have been leading iCST for 19 years. Currently iCST is specializing in IT staffing and Software Testing company. iCST won Governor's award for business excellence. US Small Business Administration has awarded me as Maine's Minority Business Person of the year twice and #2 Small Business Person of the year. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by Project Management International. Led several software projects successfully at companies including IBM, The Vanguard Group of Investments, and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Technical lead for SAP implementation at Armstrong World Industries. Featured speaker at the Dale Carnegie International Convention and New England e-business conference and spoke at several events. Public speaking is one of my passions. Authored many articles that have been featured in the Portland Press Herald on various topics. Also published articles in Center for Creative Leadership (CCL)'s magazine, Inner Tapestry. Trained on leadership at Bowdoin College by the US Senator Angus King, Center for Creative Leadership, The Outward Bound School, Dale Carengie Institute and Institute for Civic Leadership. Served on the boards of MESDA (Maine Software Developers' Association) and the United Way of Greater Portland. Served as Master of Ceremonies at the Boston Yoga and Chant Festival, the Omega Institute’s Ecstatic Chant of New York, the Bhakti Fest of California, the Denver Chant Fest and the Devotion Fest. Guided meditation at Maine Yoga Fest and Bhakti Fest of California. Graduated in two year Margha program by Natural Dharma Fellowship under Dr. Lama Willa Miller, Professor, Harvard University. Leads Swan Kirtan, a devotional chanting band by playing harmonium and singing. Performed at festivals, schools, yoga studios and other other centers.
