Paragon Systems provides comprehensive facility security services and licensed, professionally trained service personnel to departments and agencies of the United States Government. Our security personnel support vital homeland security programs and protect some of the nation's most sensitive infrastructure.

 

 

Paragon Systems Inc. is currently hiring for positions as an Armed Protective Security Officer on our New England Contract; covering Portland, Augusta Maine.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess high school diploma from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent certificate
  • Speak English fluently, read and comprehend written English, and compose coherent written reports in English.
  • The ability to obtain/pass a federal background clearance.
  • And meet one of the following experience/education requirements:
    • Three years of security, law enforcement/corrections or other qualifying experience; or
    • Three years of military or National Guard (active duty or reserve) experience; or
    • Successful completion of Police Officer’s Standard Training (POST) course; or
    • Any qualifying combination of education and/or experience.
  • Pass the medical examination, drug test, and physical agility test if applicable;
  • Complete required training (3 Weeks); and pass the required examination(s);
