Insurance Customer Service Representative

Cheney Insurance is an independent agency serving all of Maine from our beautiful Mid Coast town of Damariscotta.  We provide our dedicated people with technology and marketing so they can continuously develop new business and serve their customers better than anyone else.

We seek customer focused candidates who want to help our business grow and, in turn, be rewarded for their contribution to our success.  Successful candidates will have an interest in obtaining their Property and Casualty license or may already have a license.

Job responsibilities vary to some extent based on the skills and experience of our customer representatives and include:

• Creating opportunities to serve our clients more effectively than any other options available to them.
• Helping to educate our clients about their unique insurance needs, and facilitating the most suitable coverage for them
• Contacting prospects referred by existing clients, including local businesses
• Reviewing customer accounts prior to policy renewals and recommending revisions if indicated
• Completing changes to policies as requested by customers
• Demonstrating passion for customer satisfaction
• Being part of a team that pulls together and accomplishes outstanding results
