Job Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator position in Portland is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the HR department. This front desk position provides guidance, support and coordination in the consistent and effective delivery of HR services including operational, administrative and project-related responsibilities. This is a full-time, first shift, 8 week assignment that could be temp to hire for the right candidate. If you have solid judgment, excellent customer service and communication skills and enjoy greeting and directing visitors, this may be the job for you!

General Operations Responsibilities:

Provides day to day support of the HR Team through preparing and sending correspondence, maintaining calendars and coordinating meetings.

Generates, maintains and updates departmental reports

Processes requests for personnel information from a variety of customers.

Responsible for the maintenance and supply needs of the department.

Coordinates the utilization of internal resources

Participates in process improvement

Greets and directs visitors.

Assists with new employee onboarding functions.

Maintains and manages sensitive and confidential information.

What We Need From You:

1 to 3 years of Administrative or HR experience preferred

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills

Problem solving skills with the ability to deliver effective results and meet deadlines

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
