The Bank Teller position in Yarmouth is responsible for and expected to greet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer focused environment using the Principals of Exceptional Service. As a Teller you will maintain an assigned cash-drawer, including retrieving the cash-drawer weighing approximately 10 lb. from a combination vault locker and returning it at the end of the day, as well as accurately keeping a daily settlement of the assigned cash drawer by use of computer terminal and prepare a settlement sheet. You will be responding to customer inquiries and concerns by researching and identifying positive solutions or referring to appropriate staff for resolution. You will enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency by implementing administrative systems, procedures and policies. This is a full time, first shift position and the schedule is M- F 7:30am-5pm and Saturday 9-12pm. It will be important to have confidence, professionalism and the willingness and desire to provide excellent customer service to everyone you interact with. What We Need From You:
Strong accuracy and efficiency skills
Equivalent to high school diploma. Duties require a broad knowledge of banking terminology, policies and procedures.
Minimum of one year of recent retail sales, cashier or other money-handling experience required.
Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.
Good organizational ability; attentiveness to detail.
Ability to read/write English and to understand and follow instructions. Ability to easily communicate/converse with other individuals.
Ability to perform data entry on computer terminal and use of general office equipment.
Good math skills.
