Legal Assistant / Paralegal (98858)

Bonney Staffing - Auburn, ME

The Legal Assistant / Paralegal position in Auburn is responsible for: administrative support to staff attorney, answering phone calls and resolution of title issues. This is a full time, first shift position.You will look up tax information and implement online research as required. You will prepare titles, mortgage deeds, discharges, partial releases and invoices. You will also be reaching out to lenders and clients either over the phone or email to confirm commitments and answer any questions or concerns about titles.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required
  • 1-3 Years of experience, Paralegal, Real Estate or Legal Assistant
  • Type at least 50 WPM
  • Proficiency in technology, willingness to learn new programs
  • Keen eye for attention to details
  • Ability work in fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to work independently


Hours:

  • Full time
  • 1st shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, M - F

Benefits:

  • A minimum starting pay of $15.00 or more hourly, pay will commensurate with experience.
