College of the Atlantic seeks a full-time Director of Internships and Career Development. Operating under broad guidance from the college’s provost and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the incumbent is responsible for managing all aspects of the internship program requirement, community service requirement, and working with the academic advising team, and non-COA study abroad.
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Career Counseling Experiential Education, Cooperative Education or related field and/or work experience strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated effectiveness in working with students of diverse backgrounds and identities, including but not limited to gender, disability, socioeconomic status, primary language(s), family's educational background, race, ethnicity, sexuality, or national origin.
