Redington-Fairview General Hospital (RFGH) has been providing care as an independent, community hospital in Skowhegan, Maine since 1952. Today, RFGH is a 25-bed critical access facility that provides health care for more than 30,000 residents living in Somerset County, which extends from Skowhegan to the Canadian border. This position includes one-on-one observation of at-risk patients. This is a hands-off position and there is no expectation to do patient care. All patient needs/changes are observed and reported to nursing staff. Patient Observers work under direction of nursing.
Status: Per Diem for night shift
Qualities: Patient centered ability to effectively communicate with a multidisciplinary team are required.
Requirements: Health care experience preferred but not necessary. Excellent communication skills are required.
