We are looking for reliable and safety focused Machinists to join our team. Machinists will be responsible for setting up and operating primarily NC machines ensuring compliance with safety standards and following standard work procedures to maintain a safe and efficient production environment.
Various machining roles may be available from entry level (small stainless steel turbine components <25lb) to advanced level (large turbine components including nickel alloys and shafts up to 50ton).
Required Education/Experience (entry level)
- Graduate of any recognized machinist or tool maker course (e.g., tech school, industrial or Armed Forces program), OR
- Minimum of one year experience in set up and operation of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) multi-access machining
All candidates must successfully pass a written machinist assessment.
Preferred Education/Experience (intermediate/advanced)
- Two-year post-secondary degree in Machine Tool Technology and 1 year of experience machining on 3-or more axis CNC machines (mill, drill, or turn); or
- 3 years of experience machining on 3-or more axis CNC machines (mill, drill, or turn); or
- Experience machining large components with close tolerances on 3-or more axis CNC machines (mill, drill, or turn).
Pay (not including Night Shift Bonus)
$28.8990 - $34.0676 /hour starting (entry level machinist)
$30.2136 - $34.5058/hour after successful completion of training and introductory probation
Please note: The Night Shift Bonus (NSB)is 10% of base wage. Weekend Shift Differential is 10% of base wage
