Production Manager (Order#98484) Bonney Staffing - Biddeford, ME Job Summary: The Production Manager position in Biddeford, ME is responsible for overseeing full management and performance of the Production Department in the safe manufacturing of high-quality durable composite decking by using Lean Manufacturing tools. This is a full time, direct hire, 1st shift position. You will record Run Sheet for Correct Machine / Line Settings, make machine adjustments, as well as be the liaison Between the Plant Floor and Management. You will be responsible for all aspects of this 24/5 high-volume production environment including: safety, quality, production management, personnel management, supervising up to 25 machine operators, technical solutions, materials management, reporting, training, etc. You’ll help consult with Inventory Control Specialist to Implement Production Schedules, organize Workflow for Production Staff, and train Production and Shift Leads on: QC Checks, including Go/nogo Tooling, Change Cut Length by Adjusting Saw, Understanding / Reading Production Schedule Using SAP for Specifications Such as Dimensions, Colors, and Profile Housekeeping / 5S. If you are good with people and have the ability to push production using metrics and lean manufacturing tools this may be the job for you! What We Need From You: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Fork Truck trained Ability to read and interpret documents Ability to speak effectively Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to read a tape measure Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs Ability to problem solve and apply common sense understanding To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet Software Ability to work in a fast paced production environment What You Will Receive: At Bonney Staffing, we live and breathe our core values.
