While commensurate experience would be considered we are ideally looking for candidates that have a bachelor’s degree in finance, and a concentration in educational finance and fiscal management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Business Manager in overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all financial policies
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and reports to provide insights and recommendations
• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
• Conduct financial analysis and assist in the development of long-term financial strategies
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and financial best practices
• Assist in preparing for audits and implementing audit recommendations
• Collaborate with departments across the institution to provide financial guidance and ensure alignment with institutional goals
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred)
• Proven experience in financial management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting preferably with a background in education
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive educational community
• Strong communication skills
