Environment Maine

Environment Maine is a statewide, citizen-based environmental advocacy organization working to preserve Maine's open spaces, protect clean air and water, and move the state toward a clean energy future.

The day after Election Day, we woke up to a president-elect who thinks climate change isn’t real. Who fights for coal and oil. Who has the potential to roll back the progress we’ve made of clean air, clean water and sustainable energy.

Today, more than ever, we need you. The country needs you. The environment needs you. Today, we need you to step up and be a leader.

Impact is a non-profit project of leading advocacy organizations, including Environment America and USPIRG. Impact creates the grassroots action and power it takes to make an impact on issues that matter. We’re hiring a team of organizers for a two-year program. We’re looking for motivated seniors who are ready to take action to hold our elected officials accountable and not sit on the sidelines, so we can make positive change for our environment, our democracy and our future.
