Leap N Learn in Saco is looking to hire a Director to oversee our thriving center. The ideal candidate must have childcare management experience and have a natural passion for working with children and managing people. This position is Monday-Friday with paid holidays, medical insurance, and the pay scale is dependent on experience and applicable degree(s).

The responsibilities of the Center Director include the following:

Be responsible for the safety of the children at our center
Manage daily activities and operations including lesson planning and implementation of activities across programs
Ensure that the center is a neat, clean, and safe environment for both children and staff
Assist with new student enrollment including giving tours, onboarding, and placement of children into programs
Make sure all programs, monthly attendance records, and weekly sign in/out sheets are in accordance with all state licensing regulations
Assist with scheduling, coverage of breaks, and making sure all classrooms meet state ratio requirements
Participate in childcare training and workshops which meet the state requirements
Collect tuition payments, issue receipts, and keep accounts updated
Maintain effective communication with parents and staff
Follow all policies in the parent handbook and employee handbook
Other applicable administrative tasks including but not limited to paperwork, record keeping, scheduling and payroll
Must be able to qualify as a Director through the State of Maine regulations
Must have a positive attitude towards staff and exemplify kindness and respect of your peers and management team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
