Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Parts and Service Department Manager to oversee the parts department within our service facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a deep understanding of parts procurement and logistics. This role is crucial in ensuring that our service team has the necessary parts to deliver high-quality repairs and services to our customers.

Responsibilities

Manage the inventory of parts, ensuring adequate stock levels for efficient operations.
Oversee procurement management, including sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating prices with suppliers.
Coordinate logistics for the timely delivery of parts to meet demand planning requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting technicians and clients with parts inquiries and orders.
Collaborate with the service team to understand parts needs for various repair jobs.
Fabricate or buy specialized parts as needed to support unique repair requests.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and supplier information.
Analyze supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.

Experience

Proven experience in a parts management role within the automotive industry is preferred.
Familiarity with demand planning techniques and supply chain management principles.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with suppliers and clients.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Proficiency in inventory management software and systems related to automotive parts.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
