Overview

We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the electrical trade and are looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, assisting in various electrical tasks while learning the essential skills needed for a successful career in the industry.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Work with low voltage systems as required.
Utilize power tools and electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters to complete tasks efficiently.
Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during all work performed.
Support electricians on construction sites by preparing materials and tools needed for projects.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience or coursework related to electrical work is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with commercial electrician practices is advantageous.
Basic understanding of electrical principles, including low voltage and high voltage systems.
Experience using power tools safely and efficiently on construction sites is preferred.
Strong willingness to learn from experienced professionals in the field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
