Job Title: Experienced Metal Fabricator/Welder.

Full Time: Monday - Friday; 6:30am-3:00pm.

Pay Rate: DOE $25.00 - 30.00/hour

The right candidate will have the following Qualifications and Experience:

-Must read/interpret blueprints and written/oral instructions

-Proficient in fabrication with all forms of metal

-Able to MIG and TIG weld in all positions

-Proficient with power tools and measuring instruments

-Understanding of weld specifications and be able to maintain tight tolerances

-Effective reading, writing, and basic math skills

-Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot welding equipment and processes

-Able to carry out assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner, work with minimal supervision

-Works well as a team player as well as independently

-Cleans and maintains welding equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that equipment is in good working condition and all safety features/precautions are maintained.

-Responsible for the quality and adequacy of own work.

Adherence to the company’s policies & procedures.

Not Required but a plus:

-Rigging and forklift experience is a plus

-Ability to perform machining operations on manual mill or lathe is preferred

-General carpentry and knowledge of residential construction

Interviews include a weld test in MIG and TIG so be prepared to show off your skills!

Physical Requirements

-Must be able to stand for an 8 hour shift.

-Ability to move, work, and weld in awkward positions at times.

-Lifting capabilities 15-20 lbs repeatedly with maximum lifting of 80 lbs.

Experience

-Must have 1 year of welding experience at minimum.

-Technical school, certifications, and additional training/work place experience is preferred.
