We are looking for a reliable and relentlessly creative Digital Content Creator committed to telling engaging stories for today’s digital platforms. The ideal candidate will bring production skills, digital marketing sensibilities, and social media expertise in equal measure.

This position will report to the VP, Marketing and Communication, and will work in close collaboration across the organization to ensure cohesion and synergy of the club’s marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

Develop, create, manage, publish, and optimize digital content assets to be used across multiple platforms
Receive and execute daily briefs from the marketing and communications team and assist them to bring stories about the club to life digitally
Manage a network of freelance production support, including photographers, videographers, and graphic designers to scale up production as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to offer unique creative solutions that drive success across departments of the club, from brand partnerships to ticket sales
Stay up-to-date on the latest in the soccer, sports, creative, and social media spaces to bring fresh ideas and apply current trends to the club’s digital presence
Use social media marketing tools to publish, monitor, analyze, and report on performance
Support community management on social media platforms
This role involves capturing content up close with the team and editing it, blending hands-on fieldwork with post-production tasks. Note: This is not a traditional desk job.
The job requires attendance at all home games and events, including frequent travel with the team for away games

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in digital content creation, supported by a portfolio of demonstrative work
A love of working in fast-paced production and marketing environments, especially producing content for social media and/or sports
Knowledge of the American sports landscape with an understanding of the sport of soccer domestically and globally
Proven experience working with the following tools:
Videography and Photography: camera phone, DSLR
Editing and Design: Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Writing and Deck Creation: Google Docs, Google Slide, Keynote
Capable of producing content from start to finish quickly and efficiently, with a passion for various kinds of creative outlets including design, video, editing, and writing
Excellent knowledge of various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube) from content creation best practices through publishing and optimization
Responsible, accountable, and self-starter who demonstrates initiative and integrity
