Portland Pottery is a vibrant community pottery studio dedicated to creativity, craftsmanship, and connection. We offer classes, open studio hours, and private events in a welcoming, inclusive environment for artists of all levels.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and creative people to join our team. This position is ideal for someone passionate about ceramics and eager to support both instructors and students in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio
Assist with preparing and recycling clay
Load and unload kilns (training provided)
Provide support during classes and workshops
Greet and assist customers and students
Help with studio inventory and supply restocking
Assisting with our store and warehouse

Qualifications:

Enthusiasm for pottery and the arts
Willingness to learn studio processes (no prior experience required, but helpful)
Strong attention to detail and time management
Friendly, positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (for clay and kiln work)
Weekends are a MUST.
