Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients for meals.
Ensure all food items are prepared according to recipes and adhere to food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Support meal preparation by assembling dishes and ensuring timely service.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements.
Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality food service.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation of food items.
Ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
A passion for culinary arts and eagerness to learn new skills in the kitchen.
Experience in dietary aide roles or catering services is a plus but not mandatory.
