Woodfords is seeking a full-time (36-40 hours per week) Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our growing Community Supports Program in Kennebunk, ME!
Position Summary
DSPs at Woodfords' Expedition Program serve an important role in helping adult consumers with developmental and intellectual disabilities lead fulfilling and independent lives! Through a variety of community and center-based activities, DSPs integrate therapeutic and evidence-based practices that promote and encourage achievement of individualized goals and future planning.
Key elements of the DSP role include:
- Support in Self-care Tasks
- Health & Safety-monitoring
- Community Integration & Advocacy
- Meal Planning and Preparation
- Promoting Freedom of Choice & Decision Making
Opportunity Details
- Full-time, 36-40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday, regular business hours - No weekends or evenings!
- $17.00 per hour

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license & use of reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification, or successful completion of the full DSP course within 6 months of hire (Employees are paid by Woodfords when attending DSP training)
