Allagash Brewing Company is hiring an experienced (5+ years) Maintenance Mechanic III to play a critical role in supporting our brewery operations. This senior-level individual contributor position is responsible for executing reactive, preventative, and routine maintenance on brewery equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The person in this role will help keep our machinery and infrastructure in top condition, directly contributing to our ability to produce world-class beers. Our dedicated team of engineers and mechanics take great pride in employing creative problem solving to identify and perform equipment improvements, so strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to coach others are essential. An ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in using electrical and diagnostics tools, with the ability to resolve electrical issues using advanced diagnostic techniques and read ladder logic. The right candidate will be able to work both independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and organization.
This is a full-time, hourly position and the schedule is Monday-Friday. Flexibility is required, as occasional extended hours may be needed in response to brewery operations. This job can be very physical in nature and will require working over, under, and around potentially dangerous moving machinery in tight spaces. Must be comfortable working at heights while standing on a ladder or in a basket. Employees are exposed to high levels of noise requiring the use of hearing protection, and close, color, and distance vision are required to fulfill this job.
