Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both industrial and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and schematics. This position requires proficiency in using various power and hand tools, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems effectively.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other safety regulations.
- Work with logic controllers and other automated systems to ensure optimal performance of electrical installations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become significant problems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in both industrial and commercial environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and components.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other relevant equipment.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical documentation related to electrical installations.
- Understanding of NEC regulations and commitment to maintaining safety standards on job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks effectively.
