Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Skilled Injection Mold Maker to support our growing mold manufacturing operations. This individual will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining high-precision plastic injection molds. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to both learn and share knowledge.
This position reports directly to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and repair high-precision plastic injection molds to exact specifications
- Program and operate CNC machinery with precision, efficiency and safety
- Utilize CAD/CAM software (Mastercam or Cimatron preferred)
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Use precision measuring equipment to verify part accuracy
- Set up and operate various machine tools including lathes, mills, saws, grinders, and EDMs
- Inspect completed parts to ensure conformance with specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Perform additional tasks as needed to meet customer and production needs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2-year technical degree in Tool & Die, Machining, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing tool room environment
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection mold making preferred
- Program and operate CNC machinery (Required)
- Proficient with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam/Cimatron)
- Solid understanding of machining and toolroom equipment
- Self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning and improvement
- Strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality

- Surface Grinding: 2 years (Preferred)
- Mold Assembly: 2 years (Preferred)
