Your role
Atlantic Coast Title Company is looking for an ambitious, experienced Closer & Title Support Specialist to join our team. Our ideal candidate is someone who has experience at the closing table as well as resolving issues that come up prior to or post-closing. We’re looking for someone who is energetic, resourceful, and customer-service driven. You will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Business Development and partner closely with all members of the ACTC team. We provide a flexible, collaborative, team-focused atmosphere that allows employees to be autonomous but have support when needed. Responsibilities
- Review and verify all documentation needed to execute closings
- Conduct closings as needed and scheduled in the ACTC office and locally outside of the office
- Partner closely with Title, Processing & Post-closing department on matters pertaining to closings including schedule and closing packages
- Support SVP of Business Development in moving escalated title or closing issues to resolution
- Point of contact for post-closing issues such as doc request, payment/tax issues
- Identify potential trends in issues & escalate for potential process and procedure changes
Requirements
- Customer service driven, positive attitude
- Detail oriented
- Excellent/strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Qualia experience a plus!
- 2+ years experience in conducting closings and/or experience in the industry
- Industry awareness: technical knowledge of closing process in the State of Maine
