Job Summary:
Ocean House on the Farm is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Floating Lead Teacher to join our team. This unique role offers flexibility and variety—serving as a lead teacher in classrooms when the assigned lead is out, and as a supporting floating teacher when all leads are present. The ideal candidate is adaptable, collaborative, and eager to support children and staff across multiple age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Step into a lead teacher role in classrooms when needed, ensuring continuity of care and learning.
- Support daily routines, lesson plans, and classroom management across multiple classrooms.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to maintain a safe, positive, and developmentally appropriate environment.
- Build strong, caring relationships with children and families.
- Assist with transitions, breaks, and coverage needs throughout the day.
