Infant and Toddler Teacher
Children's Enrichment on the Cape is a nature based, early childhood program inspired by the schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy.
We are currently searching for a classroom teacher to join our Infant and Toddler team. There is a full-time and/or part-time option to this schedule We are located on 5 acres of land in Cape Elizabeth, with access to the Forest, Green Belt trails and the Ocean. We also have 5 goats and 5 alpacas! We spend lots of time exploring the outdoors, and enjoy nature experiences every day as part of our enriching, creative curriculum.
Because we view the child as capable and competent , we maintain a low child to teacher ratio, allowing us to work in small groups and follow the interests of the child. Our classroom teacher observes and documents and enhances the child's development through the curriculum and setting the environment.
If you have experience in early childhood, or a good an understanding of child development, a degree or credential in ECE or closely related field, we'd love to talk with you. If you bring knowledge and/or experience - we look forward to talking with you!
