Job Summary
We are a Spanish & French Brasserie located in the West End of Portland. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Individual to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Use the POS systems.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and quality.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation standards during food handling and preparation.
- Assist with cash handling, including processing payments accurately through the POS system.
- Provide support to host/host as needed, including managing reservations thru RESY
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, we will train you.
- Good time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest relations.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
