Now Hiring: Production Team Member — Mushroom Farm
We are a small family-owned mushroom farm producing high-quality gourmet mushrooms. Our team values sustainability, consistency, and care in every step of the cultivation process. We’re seeking a conscientious, reliable and hands-on Production Team Member to join our mushroom operations, with opportunities for growth in a specialty agriculture field.
This role involves all aspects of mushroom production—from substrate preparation to harvest and packaging. No prior mushroom experience required; we’ll train the right candidate.
Responsibilities include;
Harvest, trim, and package fresh mushrooms
Assist with substrate mixing, bagging, and sterilization
Inoculate and maintain grow rooms following sanitation protocols
Monitor mushroom development and environmental conditions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces
Follow safety and quality procedures consistently
Support general farm tasks as needed
Qualifications
Ability to lift 40+ lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
Comfortable working in varied temperature conditions (warm humid grow rooms, ambient temp open barn)
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team
Previous farm, warehouse, or production experience is a plus
Full/part time, shared housing potential for the right candidate.
