Hay Runner is looking for a hands-on, detail-loving craftsperson to join our Rockport woodshop. We build custom millwork, cabinetry, and one-of-a-kind pieces for projects that blend construction, design, and craftsmanship. If you love making things well and working in a collaborative, creative shop, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
Build custom millwork and specialty wood pieces from start to finish.
Safely operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.
Support all stages of shop production: prepping materials, assembly, finishing, and installation prep.
Collaborate with the shop team and Millwork Manager to keep projects on track.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shop.
Occasionally help with field installs or site measurements.
Who You Are
Experienced in woodworking, millwork, fabrication, or a related trade (professional or strong hobbyist).
Comfortable with tools, machines, joinery, and shop safety.
Able to read and interpret construction drawings (preferred).
Detail-oriented, proud of your craft, and reliable.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude — everyone pitches in.
