Provide excellent customer service to guests assembled with us for conferences and workshops. Duties similar to those of a hotel front desk attendant. Welcome guests, Check in and Check out guests in summer housing, provide customer service support as needed.

Essential Duties
Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor.
Be punctual for scheduled shifts. Once scheduled, you are responsible for either working the shift or finding an approved substitute. Communicate changes in your availability and requested days off, following deadlines.
Thoroughly and concisely communicate information to guests and other staff members.
Limit distractions when working, including visitors to your work area and phone/computer distractions.
Provide excellent customer service to guests assembled with us for conferences and workshops.
Provide information to guests surrounding their conference arrangements, Miami University and Oxford, Ohio.
Follow established procedures to check guests in and out of their residence hall rooms, ensuring that security and safety measures are performed when distributing and collecting guest room keys.
Properly record information on housing roster and key reports
Communicate information through the log book from one shift to the next.
Communicate information with the Conference Service Staff and Residence Hall Housekeeping Staff.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Have the willingness to help out when unexpected needs arise.
- Prior customer service or conference experience is preferred.
