About Star Island
Star Island Corporation (SIC) operates historic Star Island—one of the beautiful Isles of Shoals, located 6 miles off the New Hampshire coast. Today, SIC is entering an exciting period of growth and transformation as we work to welcome the next generation of Star Islanders, expand program offerings, and diversify revenue sources to ensure long-term sustainability. The environment is unique: staff and guests travel by boat, experience seasonal island life, and contribute to a community unlike anywhere else in New England.
We are seeking a passionate, mission-driven Annual Fund Manager who thrives in a creative, community-centered setting and is inspired by both tradition and innovation.

● Experience managing annual giving or similar fundraising efforts, ideally during a capital campaign or growth year.
● Strong writing and grant writing skills and ability to craft persuasive, mission-centered messages.
● Experience working with CRM/donor databases (e.g., Raisers Edge) and basic fundraising metrics.
● Experience with digital fundraising tools, segmentation strategies, and donor journeys.
● Ability to juggle multiple projects and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
● Enthusiasm for Star Island’s mission, history, and unique island setting. Overnight stay/residency on Star Island during the conference season (June-September: typically 5 days and 4-5 nights/week)
● Comfort collaborating with remote and seasonal teams.
● Bachelor’s degree preferred.
