At St. Mary’s Health System, we’re looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) who’s ready to be a vital part of a dynamic care team. Whether you’re rooming patients, assisting providers with procedures, or helping at the front desk, you’ll play a key role in delivering care that puts people first.
This role offers the opportunity to grow your clinical experience in a supportive environment where your voice matters and your skills are valued.
What You’ll Do:
- Support providers in a fast-paced outpatient or urgent care setting
- Prepare exam rooms and assist with procedures
- Collect vitals, update medical records, and support clinical workflows
- Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling and patient check-ins when needed
- Contribute to a positive, team-based environment focused on compassionate care
What You Bring:
- Certified Medical Assistant through a nationally recognized credentialing body (AAMA, NCCT, NHA, etc.)
- Graduate of an accredited 2-year MA program preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Excellent communication and people skills—you love working with patients and teams alike
- Familiarity with medical terminology, office procedures, and EMR systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a calm, can-do attitude
