Job Summary: At Margaritas, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Prior cleaning experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow established safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning protocols and confidentiality
Requirements
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate loads
- Reliable transportation is preferred for shift flexibility
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
