We are seeking a full‑time Parts Manager to join our team. We’re a full‑service boatyard and marina in South Freeport, offering summer slips, service work, boat storage inside and out, and the winterization/commissioning of about 200 boats each season.
About the Position:
The Parts Manager oversees the daily operations of a parts department, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate ordering, and excellent customer service. This role supports technicians and customers by maintaining the right parts at the right time while controlling costs and optimizing workflow. The Parts Manager plays an important role in keeping our operation running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
• Daily and seasonal parts ordering and receiving
• Assist technicians with part identification and problem‑solving
• Work directly with vendors
• Enter parts into our system and onto customer invoices
• Maintain and organize the parts room
• Manage inventory, including year‑end counts
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of marine systems and parts is a plus
• Proficiency with inventory software and basic computer skills
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to troubleshoot and source hard‑to‑find components
