TigerFish is Block Island's premier Asian Fusion restaurant. We are looking for a passionate and creative sushi chef to join our team for the 2026 season.
Requirements for applicants:
Experience as a sushi chef and knowledge of Japanese techniques
Expertise in sushi preparation, knife skills, and cleanliness standards
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first mindset
Must be willing to relocate to Block Island for May 10 through the end of October
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare sushi and sashimi with precision
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety
Collaborate with the culinary team on menu development and seasonal specials
Ensure proper storage and handling of all raw ingredients
