Loader Operator/Kiln Builder
Starting Pay Rate: $21.43
Purpose: The Loader Operator/Kiln Builder always ensures efficient movement of materials and a safe yard environment for staff, truckers and contractors working in or passing through the yard; is an integral member of the Moose River Lumber safety team and will always adhere to safety protocols, while reporting conditions that may be of concern.
Position Reports to: Yard Manager
Position is Full-Time, Year-Round
Responsibilities
· Continual keen awareness of surroundings in a fast-paced environment to prevent any potential accidents with other equipment, vehicles or pedestrians.
· Safely and efficiently move lumber from various locations in the yard to others.
· Complete daily Inspection Sheet of equipment, prior to operation. Report any equipment issues.
· Observe and follow all safety protocols at all times. Assist as part of a team to keep the mill yard a safe and clean environment at all times.

Requirements
· Proven reliability
· Ability to follow established procedures and practices
· A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
· Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, twist, reach, climb and bend. Satisfactory pre-employment physical and drug screening.
