As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Prol in Portland, ME, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:
- Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designed site and weekly shift th serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
- Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling plform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.
This role is ideal for candides seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-reled procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities a financial institution locion.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observions and communicing with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed prols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points, verify identificion and authorizion when required, and report unusual activity, policy violions, and/or maintenance concerns to the approprie personnel.
- Support cash handling and other sensitive area protocols by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing required reports reled to daily activities and/or incidents.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess least 1 year of armed security-reled, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be least 21 years of age.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certificion is preferred.
- Be least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigion in accordance with all federal, ste, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applicions with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participe in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to ste and/or local laws and regulions and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
