Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Rover in Portland, ME, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Prol Officer a premier financial institution locion, where you will monitor and prol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-reled incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communicion. Wh You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-reled procedures, site-specific policies, and when approprie, emergency response activities a financial institution locion.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicing with site contacts and/or local law enforcement as needed.
Conduct regular and random prols throughout the locion, including the lobby, offices, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter, helping to identify unusual activity and/or policy violions.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized entry, helping to support a controlled environment for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries.
Maintain readiness for an armed post by following all applicable post orders, use-of-force guidelines, and weapon handling requirements while performing assigned duties in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess least one year of armed security-reled, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be least 21 years of age.
A valid firearms permit is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigion in accordance with all federal, ste, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applicions with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participe in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to ste and/or local laws and regulions and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
