Tedford Housing is seeking dynamic professional to join our team as Events & Development Assistant.
For over 35 years, Tedford Housing has been empowering people to move from homelessness to home. Based in Brunswick and serving Sagadahoc, Lincoln, and Cumberland and Androscoggin counties, Tedford has relocated its shelter programs and administration to a new expanded facility. The Events & Development Assistant will report to the Director of Development and will be a key member of the administrative and fundraising team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
This is a 24-hour a week, non-benefitted position with an hourly rate of $25 per hour.
Typical hours will be during the regular work week with occasional weekend and evening hours necessary depending on event schedules.
Typical Duties and Key Responsibilities of the Events & Development Assistant are:
1. Event Planning & Execution
Research and secure venues, catering, rentals, and other vendors; serve as primary point of contact for logistics coordination
Support procurement, organization, and tracking of auction and raffle items, including donor communication and acknowledgment

2. Corporate Sponsorships & Community Partnerships
Track and fulfill sponsorship deliverables, ensuring partners receive agreed-upon benefits (e.g., logo placement, event recognition, social media mentions, tickets)
3. Donor Administration & Database Management
Assist the Director of Development & Director of Administration to maintainaccurate, up-to-date donor and gift records in Little Green Light (CRM), ensuring data consistency for mailings and communications
