Job Description
Job Title: Substitute Teacher
Reports To: Owner
This is a flexible position that is scheduled on a weekly basis. Substitute teachers are scheduled every Wednesday for the following week based on their availability.
Summary: Responsible for daily care of children, classroom schedules and curriculum by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Applies knowledge of sound early childhood education, development concepts, and principles within the goals and philosophy of the school.
2. Monitors and observes the daily operations of the classrooms for safety, positive interaction, and productive education of activity.
3. Reviews and approves lesson plans on a weekly basis.
4. Communicates with parents/guardians regarding their attending child and reports all communication to the owner.
5. Maintains a happy, nurturing, and relaxed atmosphere in the classroom while meeting their daily needs.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
