Position Summary
Truck Drivers (CDL Class A) are responsible for transporting different types of materials and goods from ASA’s processing centers to customer locations using company fleet vehicles. Truck Drivers are required to adhere to DOT regulations such as performing inspections, maintaining delivery logs, and tracking driving hours.
Truck Drivers also serve as company representatives during customer deliveries therefore requiring that they maintain constant professionalism as well as needing to occasionally answer or follow up on customer inquiries.
What You'll Do
- Foster a culture of safety awareness & safety prioritization.
- Ensure that quality standards are met; champion quality ownership of work center.
- Enforce all company rules, policies, and procedures; communicate issues or concerns with Division leadership and/or Corporate.
- Adhere and follow all DOT regulations.
- Properly secure and tarp material loads.
- Verify material for delivery is on the truck, correct, and matches the Bill of Laden (B.O.L.).
- Manages all delivery paperwork, including returning signed delivery receipts.
- Assist ASA warehouse workers in loading and unloading material from trucks.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading material from trucks.
- As a front-facing employee of the company, serve as a representative during customer deliveries.
- Maintain workspace/truck (cleanliness, organized, etc.).
- Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by the division and/or corporate management team.
Required Skills and Experience
- 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the past 4 years or completion of a certified CDL driving school/training.
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.

- Ability to climb up and down ASA’s company fleet of vehicles (ex: flatbed truck).
- Ability to pass DOT physical and maintain the ability to do so.
- Consistently be able to lift at least 75+lbs multiple times within a shift.
- Pass initial drug test and physical.
