Participant Success Advisor:
The Participant Success Advisor works as part of a fast-paced, tech savvy, detail-oriented, people–facing team performing a variety of customer service and administrative tasks to support program participants in their journey and achievement of overall contract requirements.
- Acts as “host” for the Opportunity Center creating a warm and welcoming environment for participants and all visitors.
- Acts as staff to the “Participant Success Center” answering calls, assisting participants and routing calls as needed.
- Calls program participants to schedule their Welcome Meeting with their Career Advisor and prepare them for participation.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education AND 2 years experience in front-facing, customer service, reception, front desk, office assistant, clerical or office-based human services role.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Career Advisor:
As a Career Advisor you’ll be the primary point of support for a caseload of program participants facing barriers to economic wellbeing and seeking meaningful employment opportunities and self-sufficiency. You’ll work with participants from the time they are referred to our program until they find employment.
- Managing a caseload of participants, orienting them to our program and jointly developing Career Plans that outline their career goals and specific action steps to increase employability and address existing barriers to employment.
- Building trusting relationships with participants and providing individualized services using a variety of modes to appeal and cater to participants’ distinct preferences and engagement styles.
- Identifying needed support services (childcare, transportation, job training, and educational services, etc.) and making referrals to both internal and external services, coordinating effectively with other team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred OR high school diploma/GED plus equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one year of experience in career services, case management, workforce development, or social services OR in a related field such as education, healthcare administration, retail or hospitality management, or human resources.
Performance Manager:
We’re seeking a leader who combines strong operational skills with a genuine commitment to helping others. The ideal candidate understands the complex barriers families face—such as poverty and housing instability—and approaches problem-solving and team management with empathy, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
- Manage daily operations and performance of one or two Opportunity Centers, leading a team of six to 20 staff to foster a high-energy, accountable, and growth-focused environment.
- Conduct weekly data-informed supervisions and regular performance reviews to drive continuous improvement and staff development.
- Collaborate with local leaders and program staff to develop solutions and lead initiatives for program growth and improvement.
- Represent Fedcap at external partnership and networking events, building community connections.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, Human Services, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
- At least 3 years’ experience in career services, case management, workforce development, or social services.
- At least 5 years’ experience
