Regional School Unit 34 Seeks a Skilled And Dedicated Assistant To Join The Central Office (Superintendent’s Office) Team. The Successful Candidate Will Flexibly Complete a Variety Of Independent And Collaborative Functions With a High Degree Of Accuracy. Major Areas Of Responsibility Include
- Guiding families through the student enrollment process
- Enabling and monitoring staff training completion and certification / authorization
- Assisting in grant applications and grant reports
- Working with our data specialist to enter and manage a variety of data such as student assessment data
- Maintaining physical and digital files
- Writing purchase orders and placing orders / registrations
- Guiding staff and families in following the policies and procedures of the district
- Standard clerical duties
The Central Office Assistant is often the first face welcoming prospective students, families, or new staff to our district, using people skills and their knowledge of the district to guide people to the answers they need.
The Central Office Assistant will routinely use multiple apps / software, such as the Google Suite, Microsoft Office suite, student information system, state databases, and local databases. Successful experience with database work is an important prerequisite, preferably with a system comparable to a student information system (e.g., Infinite Campus, Power School). Interest in learning to accurately use artificial intelligence tools for enhancements and efficiencies is important.
This is a year-round 40-hour position. Competitive wage and benefits package, including 95% of single-subscriber health benefits, EPL, and a 6.5% retirement match. We will begin considering applications on April 16th, 2026; applications will close when the position is filled.
