Skillforce is currently hiring Journeyman Electrician for a long-term commercial project in Iowa City, IA. This project involves some wiring, run & bend EMT conduit. The ideal candidate is experienced in commercial electrical work, efficient, and able to work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards. Pay up to $35 hr. based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Perform lighting fixture install
Basic wiring, run & bend EMT conduit
Ensure all work complies with local and state electrical codes
Safely use hand and power tools
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members
Requirements:
Prior commercial electrical experience
Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
