MDI Cleaning Services is hiring reliable, detail-oriented cleaners for the busy 2026 season. We specialize in high-end residential, short-term rental, & commercial cleaning across Mount Desert Island.

Position Details
- Pay: $30 per hour
- Mileage: $1 per mile driven between job sites
- Schedule: Part-time & full-time (15–30 hours/week)
- Seasonal: Beginning late May through November (with potential for extended or year-round work)
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
- Availability: Must be available on weekends
What You’ll Be Doing
- Residential cleaning (weekly/biweekly homes)
- Airbnb/vacation rental turnovers (resetting homes between guests)
- Commercial property cleaning (offices, museums, etc)
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchens, and bathrooms
- Making beds and resetting linens
- Occasional laundry (on-site or off-site depending on job)
- Restocking basic supplies for guest-ready homes
- Working independently or as part of a team

- Comfortable working solo or with a partner
Requirements
- Reliable transportation (travel between job sites required)
- Ability to lift 20–30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
- Must be willing to undergo a background check
- Prior cleaning experience necessary
