The Maine Office of Information Technology’s Application Development team is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to help build and support software applications for the Department ofInland Fisheries and Wildlifeand other departments. The selected individual will work with a team of other dedicated developers tomaintaintheMOSESsuite of applicationsand to develop new applications where needed.
This position offers the opportunity to work first-hand on the development and maintenance ofITsystemssupporting the State’s natural resources agenciesusing theOracleandMicrosofttechnology stacks.

The ideal candidate possesses the following:
Five years’ experience with Java developing and supporting software applications, websites, web apps, web services, and mobile apps.
Experience in these areas is a plus:
Four (4) years of computer programming experience utilizing higher level languages including two (2) years at the Programmer Analyst level or equivalent -OR- a Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences including two (2) years at the Programmer Analyst level or equivalent. A Masters Degree in Computer Science may be substituted for one (1) year of programming experience.
