Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment
Regional School Unit #24 is seeking motivated and collaborative candidates for our next Director of Curriculum. The Director will provide leadership, based on best practices, in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the district's system of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of federal grants/programs and will coordinate the use of our district's student information system and learning management system. The next Director will provide direct and effective support of the District's Leadership Team and the various stakeholder groups. Additionally, the Director will lead the district's PBIS team, coordinate our Gifted & Talented Program, and provide meaningful professional development opportunities for faculty.
RSU #24 serves 850 students from nine communities in eastern Hancock County and western Washington County. The new Director will provide support to the educators in our four PK-Grade 5 schools and brand new middle/high school.
Qualifications include successful broad-based teaching experience, administrative experience in curriculum development and/or instructional leadership, a Master's degree, and eligibility for Maine certification #078 Curriculum Coordinator/Supervisor.
