JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hay Runner Site Lead/Lead Carpenters provide carpentry team leadership, coordinates job responsibilities for all Hay Runner carpenters on site, supervises their daily work, and ensures the safety and productivity of Hay Runner carpentry crews at the worksite who install/assemble carpentry components and structures. The Site Lead/Lead Carpenter is expected to be able to fulfill all aspects covered under the job description for the Carpenter position. The Site Lead/Lead Carpenter’s principal duty is to work with the Project Manager directly to properly schedule and supervise the work of the carpentry crew on the job site to achieve maximum production in the most efficient manner on a given site.
The Site Lead/Lead Carpenter is responsible for the efficient production of the carpentry component of Hay Runner assigned project(s) while ensuring all federal, state, local and Company standards are met.

- Effectively communicate orally and in writing, with good comprehension.
- Assess crew skills and deficiencies.
- Coach and teach crew members.

- See how the work and tasks fit among staff into the project.
- Form and implement workforce crew plans and schedules.
- Organize and delegate work.
- Layout framing, doorways, window openings, staircases, decks, porches, roof structures, etc.
- Handle the administrative duties of position, including completion of required documents.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Has 5 to 10 years’ experience as a qualified and competent journeyman carpenter, who is also familiar with other construction trades and crafts.

- Handling and Moving Objects-Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
