NOW HIRING - Automotive Technician

Pay Range: $22–$37/hour (based on experience)

We are a locally owned third- generation independent automotive repair shop known for honest work, quality repairs, and long-term customer relationships. We’re looking for a dependable Automotive Technician to join our team. Our shop is well-equipped, fast-paced, and focused on doing the job right.
Consistent hours: Mon.–Thu. 8:00–5:00, Fri. 8:00-Noon, WEEKENDS OFF!
You’re a great fit if you:
• Hold a Maine State Inspection license (Class A and E) or be willing to obtain
• ASE certification is a plus (not required)
•Can diagnose and repair confidently
•Show up on time, presentable, and have a positive attitude
•Strong mechanical and basic electrical diagnostic skills
•Valid driver’s license
•Own basic tools
What You’ll Do:
•Conduct vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs
•Perform general automotive repairs and maintenance
•Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, steering, and drivability issues
•Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems
•Complete front and 4-wheel alignments, tire change and balance
•Communicate clearly with the service advisor/shop owner
•Keep your work area clean and organized
