Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team for a Class A Commercial driving position. The ideal candidate will have experience driving both pintle hook and fifth wheel style trailers, have a current medical card and class A license with no restrictions. Hazmat endorsements are not required.
Job Overview
This person will deliver precast concrete structures across Southern Maine, New Hampshire, and Eastern Massachusetts, sometime with straight truck, sometimes with truck and trailer, and unload them on the jobsite with a rear mounted crane in a safe and efficient way. This person may also occasionally drive a tractor with 53' step deck trailer to haul precast concrete materials. Previous flat bed or step deck trailer experience is preferred. Boom truck experience not required but is a bonus. Hours will range from 40-50 hours per week, out daily around 3-4 PM, paid holidays and weekends off. Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A truck to transport goods safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and rear mounted truck cranes.
- Inspect loads to ensure they are properly loaded and strapped for safe transport.
- Learn precast products to be able to correctly load and deliver to customers based on sales order sheets.
Pay: $27.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
